In recent months, we have seen several leaders depart from the leadership of the Special Weapons and Tactics and now we see a new leader depart from the army.
The Special Weapons and Tactics were created by Ganger90 in 2009 following his departure from the Roman Fire Warriors. Since the army’s creation, SWAT had reached great heights and even established itself as one of the strongest armies in the original Club Penguin era. The army was revived in April 2020 on Club Penguin Online under the leadership of Zuke, Sweater, Darklink, and S Cargo2. The army is currently led by WilliamW2010.
Clade’s journey in Club Penguin Armies began when he was recruited by SWAT in 2022. He then spent the next three years in the army whilst going in and out the army a couple times. He was eventually promoted to Supreme Commander on May 1st. After a couple weeks, on May 17, it was unexpectedly announced that he would be retiring from SWAT.
Club Penguin Armies Official reached out to Clade to gather more information regarding his retirement.
Why did you decide to retire shortly after being promoted to leader?
Clade: I retired for many reasons the main one downs to becoming more involved and busy in my life
Do you ever see yourself returning to SWAT’s leadership in the future?
Clade: Given how things are in my life right now, it’s unlikely that I’ll be returning to SWAT or CPA work.
You’ve spent a long time in SWAT, what would be your favorite memory?
Clade: if i had to pick it would be the templar and swat war back in 2022
What do you think the future of SWAT entails?
Clade: I genuinely hope the best for the Army, but the future of swat doesn’t seem promising. It seems increasingly likely that it will be shut down.
