In a significant moment for the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), a legendary figure has stepped down. Subzero, a respected leader, has officially retired from his position as Supreme Commander. He originally joined SWAT in late 2012 as a leader. More recently, he returned to the community, initially as an advisor, before becoming a commander alongside fellow leaders Holo2 and Versa. After Versa’s recent retirement, WilliamW2010 joined the leadership team. Together, they guided SWAT through its most difficult phase. Today, we reflect on Subzero’s remarkable legacy and the decision that led him to step down.

Subzero originally joined Special Weapons And Tactics in late 2012. Over time, he became an advisor for the army before eventually stepping into leadership. After a period away, he returned in January 2025 to lead once again. Together with Holo2 and WilliamW2010.

Club Penguin Armies Official reached out to Subzero, the former leader of Special Weapons And Tactics, to learn more.
CPAO: Why did you retire from being a SWAT leader?
Subzero: I believe it was my time.
CPAO:Were there any key moments that made you make this choice?
Subzero: I would say just the pure sake of me not being able to give them 100% anymore.
CPAO: Would there be any chance of you returning in the future to lead SWAT again?
Subzero: Never say never. Let’s see what the future holds.
Subzero’s decision to step down comes from a place of honesty, recognizing that he can no longer fully dedicate himself to the role. Yet, his parting words leave the door open for a potential return. For now, the community bids farewell to a SWAT leader whose contributions and leadership will not be forgotten. Club Penguin Armies Official also extends its best wishes to Subzero in all his future endeavors.
