On May 1, 2025, the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) officially inducted Clade as their new Commander-in-Chief. Let’s take a closer look at who Clade is, his journey through the army community, and what he brings to SWAT’s leadership.

A Journey of Growth and Loyalty
Clade first joined Special Weapons And Tactics in early 2022 as a regular troop. Through dedication and mentorship from his leaders, he was promoted to Staff-in-Training. His commitment to the army soon became evident. This drive led him to serve as a staff member not only in SWAT but also in the Army of Club Penguin and the Dark Vikings.
After returning to SWAT, Clade stayed loyal during a critical time when the army was defaced. His unwavering support and dedication stood out. These efforts earned him a promotion to Leader-in-Training under the leadership of Subzero, Holo2, and Williams. Following the departure of Subzero and Holo2, Clade steadily rose through the ranks and was ultimately promoted to Commander-in-Chief.

Club Penguin Armies Official spoke exclusively to Clade to learn more about his promotion in SWAT and his vision for the future.
How do you feel about stepping into the role of a leader?
Clade: I feel very honored and a strong sense of responsibility. I’m proud of myself for sticking with SWAT through everything and always trying to improve it. This has been my dream for a long time, and I’m extremely grateful that I now get to live it and lead the army I care about most.
As a leader, what’s the top priority you aim to improve within the army?
Clade: Discipline and structure. That’s the foundation of any real army. We need a chain of command that functions, staff who meet standards, and HCOM who lead by example. No more slack. No more confusion. Everyone needs to know their role, execute it with precision, and be held accountable
What was your reaction when you found out you had been promoted to leader?
Clade: At first, I was unsure I questioned if I was ready?? then I pulled myself together and reminded myself why I’m here! I’m not doing this for myself. I’m doing this for SWAT. For the troops. For my staff. For every single person who ever served in this army. I had to step up, because someone needed to protect what we built. SWATRULERS FOR LIFE
What are some of your favorite memories from your time in SWAT?
Clade: Some of my favourite memories go back to when I was just a troop fighting in the war against TCP. Back then, if you asked anyone, they’d tell you I had a strong hatred for our enemies at the time. That was my motivation!
What goals or plans do you have for the future of SWAT under your leadership?
Clade: My goal for the future of SWAT is to turn it back into a war machine. I want us on the CPA headlines every week. I want us feared in battle, respected in the community, and united as one. One of my key plans is to market SWAT beyond just being a Club Penguin army. I want to spread it across the internet, bring in new faces, and build something bigger. SWAT won’t just be an army it’ll be a brand, a movement, and a force people recogize across platforms. We will have the power and presence in cpa !
Finally, what message would you give to those aspiring to become leaders in their own armies someday?
Clade: Leadership isn’t about titles or being above anyone. It’s about responsibility. You’re not higher than your troops you’re there to take care of them, guide them, and help them grow. You have to realize that leadership comes with criticism. People will challenge you, make fun of you, and question your decisions. But you have to pull through, put your act together, and keep pushing forward. Managing both your personal life and an army will be tough, but finding balance is key. And always remember accept your mistakes and learn from them. Don’t let your ego get in the way. The best leaders are the ones who grow from their failures, not the ones who act like they’ve never made one.
A New Era for SWAT?
With a powerful vision and deep loyalty to SWAT, Clade steps into leadership with bold goals and a clear sense of purpose. From humble beginnings as a troop to standing at the helm of SWAT, his journey reflects resilience, dedication, and growth. As Clade sets out to transform SWAT into a respected and feared force once again, the entire community will be watching to see what legacy he builds.
Club Penguin Armies Official wishes Clade all the best in his new role as Commander-in-Chief. We look forward to seeing how his leadership will shape the army’s future.
