We are finally here with our first tournament which is theĀ Frost Frenzy. We are excited to start our first edition of Frost Frenzy, and we are excited to see how this tournament will take place! Let’s review our tournament rules and upcoming battles.

Information and Rules
Just 2 weeks ago, Club Penguin Armies OfficialĀ administration announced a tournament that is to start inĀ May. We have named this tournamentĀ Frost Frenzy, and the qualifiers battle is to commence next weekend featuring 9 armies and making this the first tournament ever hosted by CPAO. The first battle is start to set this weekend, followed by the other battles until one army remains.
Qualifiers:Ā May 3rd
Quarter Finals: May 10th & May 11th
Semi Finals: May 17th & May 18th
Grand Finals: May 24th
To be 100% sure this tournament runs smooth, we have established some rules. Please be sure to read them carefully as this is our first tournament to be hosted.
- Battle Format
– Battles are judged across 3 rooms, 10 minutes each, Overtime will play a part if needed.
– Judges determine winners based on:
1. Size (Average troop count)
2. Tactics (creativity, clarity, relevance)
3. Formations (clean, readable, responsive)
4. Speed (execution and transitions) - Eligibility
1. Only registered armies can participate.
2.. If you registered and didn’t sign up or you signed up but shutdown, you are not allowed to attend
3. If you are caught multi-logging, you and your army will be disqualified from the tournament - Dual enlistment
1. Dual enlistment is not allowed meaning you can attend for any armies that are participating, but you must stick with them.
2. If anyone is caught attending for another army will be disqualified from the tournament meaning if you lose one of your battles, you may not log on for someone else. - Battle timing
1. If an army is more than 10 mins late, it forfeits unless a delay is approved.
2. Armies must stick to designated battle rooms unless instructed otherwise.
3. Room sniping is not allowed. This means when we reach the marks :09 and :19, you may have your maps opened if your army leader tells you to, but you are not allowed to go to other rooms to see if judges are there. This will result to you being kicked if that’s a case - Disconnections
1. A troop may re-join the battle if they are disconnected
2. If a mass disconnect or CPAB crash occurs, please wait for judge’s instructions before taking action
3. Lag alone is not grounds for replay unless itās proven to be platform wide. - Spectators
1. Spectators are not allowed; an engagement coordinator or a moderator will log on and stream a battle in the main voice chat.
2. Just to ensure that the battles go well, anyone that is spectating will be kicked. - Judging and disputes
1. Judgesā decisions are final once announced.
2. Army leaders may provide feedback privately post-battle.
3. Unfair judging or misconduct should be submitted to the CPAO Executives or Head Judges - Map
1. The map will be locked during the tournament.
2. Since the map is locked, you are not able to schedule invasions on it, even when you are eliminated from the tournament. All invasions will be declined from the admins and judges. - Judging
1. The judging will take place over at theĀ Club Penguin Army JudgesĀ and it will be organized by theĀ Head Judges.
2. Armies are allowed to veto 2 judges per battle. Once that army has used 2 vetoes, they are no longer able to veto judges for that battle. Vetoes must be made before the four-hour mark and cannot be used against Head Judges unless they are affiliated with an army. If no available judges remain after the vetoes, the Head Judges may appoint individuals, including those previously vetoed, to ensure the battle proceeds smoothly.
3.Each room will haveĀ three judges. If there are not enough judges, a Head Judge may count as two. The Grand Finals will haveĀ five judges.
4. Anyone banned from CPA Battleground will not be able to participate until their ban is over. If their ban ends and their army is eliminated before the ban ended, they will not be able to attend at all. You are not allowed to attend on alts or lead in your army discord servers. The army they are involved in will get disqualified if we catch actions like that.
5.Ā No costumes are allowed to be worn at any point during the tournament.

2. Templars
3. Scarlet Republic
4. Special Weapons and Tactics
